Geniechat was founded in 2022 by 4-time founder Jessica Kane. Jessica Kane is an award-winning Founder & CMO, specializing in the art of brand building and scaling through the transformative power of conversation.

With over 15 years in omni-channel marketing, she has successfully established numerous online social media communities, collectively reaching an astounding audience of over 100 million women. Moreover, her personal brand alone has captivated and impacted the lives of more than 5 million individuals.

After just one year of business, Geniechat has already disrupted the male-dominated sales enablement industry and coined the "holy grail" app by female sellers around the world.

With a million business ideas out there, what makes your business unique?
All great AHA's usually come from listening to the market. After spending many years training female sellers before creating Geniechat, it was evident there was a huge opportunity in the market of sales enablement software for the female user in both enterprise and individual sales communities. I tried to find a solution for myself, but was cobbling together many apps! That's when I knew I could build the all in one app that non-techie sellers would enjoy and actually use.
Every business has some sort of catalyst for getting started, or some inspiration. What was your "ah ha" moment?

GenieChat addresses several challenges in the sales and communication landscape, providing solutions that cater to the needs of modern sellers and buyers. Here are some of the problems that GenieChat solves:

Content Fragmentation:
Problem: Traditional content tools can lead to fragmented content across various platforms, making it challenging for sales teams to stay organized and maintain a unified brand presentation.

Solution: GenieChat offers a seamless platform where teams can collaborate in real-time, reducing communication silos and streamlining content sharing.

Outdated Sales Methodologies:
Problem: Many sales tools are built on outdated sales methodologies that do not align with the needs of modern sellers and buyers.

Solution: GenieChat is designed for the modern social seller and buyer, offering features and an AI specifically programmed to meet the demands of contemporary sales approaches.

Lack of Personalization in Sales:
Problem: Traditional sales tools may lack personalization features, making it challenging for sales professionals to tailor their approach to individual clients.

Solution: GenieChat provides tools and features that enable personalized interactions, helping sales teams build stronger relationships with clients based on their specific needs and preferences.

Inefficient File Sharing:
Problem: Sharing files and documents through email or multiple platforms can lead to inefficiencies, version control issues, and difficulty in locating information.

Solution: GenieChat simplifies file sharing, allowing teams to share documents, images, and other files within the platform, reducing the risk of information getting lost or disorganized.

Limited Collaboration in Sales Teams:
Problem: Sales teams often struggle with collaboration, especially when working remotely or across different locations.

Solution: GenieChat facilitates collaboration by allowing the creation of dedicated channels for projects, teams, or departments. This fosters a collaborative environment where discussions are organized and accessible.

Difficulty in Organizing Information:
Problem: Organizing and finding information quickly can be challenging when dealing with a high volume of data.

Solution: GenieChat allows users to customize their experience by rearranging folders and snippets, making it easier to access and manage information according to individual preferences.

Limited Tailoring to Female-Focused SMBs:
Problem: Female-founded small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) may feel underserved and overlooked by traditional sales tools.

Solution: GenieChat focuses on tailoring its solutions to the specific needs of female-founded SMBs, providing a platform that resonates with this demographic.

By addressing these challenges, GenieChat aims to enhance the overall efficiency, collaboration, and effectiveness of sales teams, offering a modern and personalized approach to communication and sales methodologies.

Launching a business is hard. Do you have a team or people that have helped you along the way? And, can you share a little bit about that?

The Geniechat team includes me, the founder and CEO and a dedicated army of ambassadors and strategic partners for development.

More about me:
I'm a 4-time founder and an award-winning entrepreneur, specializing in the art of brand building and scaling through the transformative power of conversation.

With over 15 years in omni-channel marketing, I have successfully established numerous online social media communities, collectively reaching an astounding audience of over 100 million women. Moreover, my personal brand alone has captivated and impacted the lives of more than 5 million individuals.

People love an inside scoop. What is something most people might not know about you or your company?

I'm not the average CEO or founder. I say I'm "from the trailer park to tech ceo" who beat the odds and is on a mission to ensure that no seller is left behind!

I made the unlikely journey from poverty to 4x founder without a college degree, connections, or money. I built 20+ years of experience from VC-backed startups to SMB turnarounds to Fortune 500 activations.

I had to learn it all the hard way, forever failing and relearning and eventually succeeding. With tenacity and a unique perspective, I created opportunities that weren’t available to a college-dropout hick like me.

Now, I dedicate that experience to empowering the “little guy” solopreneur with the tools, systems, and most importantly – the belief they can win!

Every business hits that wall, or hurdle. What is a major hurdle your business is facing?

The hardest is being a female-founded, created and owned technology in a male-dominated industry. I have faced adversity in acquiring:

  • Talent in a world where you don't see successful female entrepreneurs, therefore developers are hesitant to "take you on"
  • Exposure and press with male dominated thought-leader sales coaches who don't want to feature Geniechat as it won't "resonate" with their readership with is 95% male
  • Enterprise business accounts are harder to get as the well-established "boys club" in this particular industry is quite insulated. Therefore, we have focused on female founded/managed SMBs to great success.
Starting and running a business is a major learning experience. Up until this point, what is the biggest lesson you have learned about running your business and the field you are in?
I've learned over and over again that "failing fast" is a real and necessary step as a startup founder. You have to jump and build the plane on the way down!
For those first learning about your business, could you share three key takeaways that you believe our readers should know about you, your business or your product/solution?

You can be an underdog and win.

Your inability to conform is your superpower - so use it to your advantage.

Having a great idea is worthless unless you EXECUTE.

Why should people use your company or solution?
Because we are the only sales enablement app built for non-techies with a mission to always offer the most in service and never raise our pricing of just $10/month.
Are you currently seeking funding, co-founders or building out your team?
Yes for team - no on funding and founders. I'm self funded and don't have plans to bring on equity partners.
