HENDERSON, NV - Tech Alley, the nonprofit organization that provides a consistent place for entrepreneurs, startups, and tech enthusiasts to learn, gather, collaborate, and connect, is excited to announce the launch of its Henderson Chapter led by Lorraine Yarde.

Founded by entrepreneur Joshua Levitt, Tech Alley aims to strengthen communities by bringing people together, fostering innovation, and engaging in educational workshops while creating an inclusive, diverse, and fun technology and startup culture. The organization has been hosting popular monthly events in the City of Las Vegas over the last 3 years and has been credited for energizing the startup ecosystem and accelerating activity within the community.

The City of Henderson, who is graciously sponsoring the first Tech Alley Henderson event, is committed to creating opportunities for its residents by attracting new industries and businesses to the City. “We are very excited to bring the Tech Alley group to Henderson. It is our goal to provide local educational resources and support to Henderson-based startup entrepreneurs and establish an innovation ecosystem that will encourage major corporations to look at the City as a viable place to call home”, stated Lorraine Yarde, Tech Alley Henderson Chapter Leader. Tech Alley Henderson is also collaborating with the Henderson Chamber of Commerce (HCC) and is happy to have Scott Muelrath, President & CEO, giving the opening speech for its first event. "Tech Alley Henderson is an exciting new resource that compliments the work we do at the HCC, offering additional and unique opportunities for innovation and growth in our business community," Scott stated.

Tech Alley Henderson’s kick-off event will take place November 13th from 5-8pm at the new Atwell Suites at the Pass, located at 150 South Water Street in Downtown Henderson. This will be a soft opening for the property which will be Water Street’s first hotel. We are honored to have two amazing guest speakers to kick-off our Henderson Meet-Up group. David Hauser is an American entrepreneur, speaker, and angel investor best known for co-founding the Grasshopper Group, a virtual telephone service acquired by Citrix Systems. David is an incredible resource for any startup and will share valuable information about his personal experiences as a tech startup entrepreneur.
