CES Event in Las Vegas
CES wrapped Friday, and wow - AI was everywhere. From chips to cars to kitchen gadgets, AI felt less like a feature and more like the default.
I’d love to hear what the Tech Alley LV community actually felt was real vs. hype. Post-CES hot take: The most “impressive” tech wasn’t on the floor - it was the booth pricing. Pair that with Wi-Fi that couldn’t handle a to-do list, and you’ve got a case study in hype > infrastructure.
Exhibitors/attendees: how did the costs + connectivity impact your week? What would you change for 2027?

Welcome, Walter — great place to start
If you’re just getting into e-commerce, one thing that helps a lot early on is simplifying how you capture and follow up with interest from social media. It’s easy to lose momentum when leads comment or DM and there’s no system behind it.
I work with LeadTap, which is useful for things like:
Automatically responding to social comments or DMs
Turning engagement into leads without manual work
Following up across SMS, email, or Messenger
Keeping everything compliant and organized as you scale
Even if you don’t use LeadTap specifically, the big takeaway is this: automation should support conversations, not replace them. Start simple, make it easy for people to respond, and focus on fast follow-up.
Happy to share general tips or examples if that helps — feel free to reply here or DM.
